Acceptable Use Policy

Cavere — Acceptable Use Policy v1.0
Effective date: August 11, 2026

This policy is part of the Cavere Terms of Service. It exists to keep the Service honest: Cavere identifies potential issues for you to verify, and it must not be used as a weapon against third parties or against the Service itself.

Using Cavere, you agree not to:

  1. Monitor companies you have no right to monitor. Only add companies you own or have authority to monitor on the owner’s behalf. Do not use the Service to surveil competitors or any company without authorization.
  2. Treat findings as accusations. Findings such as “lookalike candidate,” “suspicious,” and “unverified seller” are automated classifications, not determinations of wrongdoing. Do not use scan output to harass or defame any person or business, or to make public accusations (of counterfeiting, fraud, scamming, or otherwise) that you have not independently verified.
  3. Bypass limits or access controls. Do not circumvent plan limits, locked findings, or paywalls; do not create multiple accounts to evade Free-plan limits; do not probe, scan, or test the Service’s infrastructure for vulnerabilities without written permission.
  4. Resell or republish scan data. Scan results are for your internal company-protection use. Do not resell, sublicense, or redistribute scan data or provide the Service to third parties as a bureau service.
  5. Use the Service unlawfully. Do not use the Service in violation of any applicable law, or to further any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, as described in the Terms of Service. If you believe your account was actioned in error, or you want to report misuse of the Service, contact privacy@cavere.ai.
